About Us
We are ATOM Robotics, a 501-(C)(3) non-profit organization and community robotics team from Atlanta, GA. We have competed annually in FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) competitions since 2018.
ATOM is a subsidiary of the Georgia Robotics Alliance.
Each year, our team is tasked with designing, building, and creating programs for an annual engineering challenge. Similar to a start-up, each team must also must raise funds, recruit new students, engage in community outreach, develop marketing materials, and record their year and total design process in an engineering portfolio.
Our symbol, Bohr's model of a carbon atom, was chosen because it is an element found in cutting edge technology, nature and humanity. At ATOM Robotics, we aim to positively impact our local communities, give back to the environment and develop reliable engineering projects.
